Go ahead, it's worth it!

I am so happy with Pets Best insurance. I've been a member for several years now and it's been a lifesaver. It has made taking care of my sweet cats down through the years easier and a real support. Now that my old guy has multiple senior problems, Pets Best has made it possible to choose the care I want, not the care I can afford. It's easy to use. Claim submission is simple. Reimbursements are quick. Service is great. It's not cheap (thus the 9 stars instead of 10), but so worth it for the peace of mind you get knowing you have help when you need it. Yes, I recommend Pets Best to anyone who is owned by a pet.

Taking Care of Annie

My Golden Retreiver, Annie, has had an unfortunate year long struggle with double ACL injuries. Pets Best made it possible for me to afford the best care for Annie, including three big surgeries and physical therapy/rehab after. Pets Best staff, with whom I spoke on the phone were very helpful, understanding and kind. Reimbursement was made in a very timely manner. I'm grateful for that and for Annie's recovery.

My Dog Recently Had A Totally Une...

My dog recently had a totally unexpected trip to the emergency vet. I was in the middle of a move and with moving costs, housing deposits, and all of the other expenses associated with moving, I was very stressed to add another $1,500 expense to my monthly budget. Thankfully, the vets were able to take care of my pup and Pets Best gave me peace of mind in my finances. The claims process was simple and I was reimbursed in a week. I tell all of my friends that pet insurance has been well worth it--I don't ever worry about having to make difficult care decisions for my pet simply because I can't afford the best care option.

Pets Best Had Made The Claim Proc...

Pets best had made the claim process so easy! I bought flea and tick meds for my dog, took a pic of the receipt, uploaded it and that's it!! With in minutes I was notified through email that my claim was being processed. With in days, I was notified that I was reimbursed! Awesome!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
