The worst insurance ever!!

They have excuses not to cover everything!! And take months to pay!! If you don’t watch them they will deny things that are covered!! And say good catch, like it’s a compliment! Really shouldn’t you do this it’s your job?’

I am so thankful for the excellent customer service and empathy.

I am so thankful for the excellent service that I received from Pets Best . They treated me with so much empathy and kindness in a time just after my labradoodle had a knee operation. I will forever be thankful and will always insure my pets with them.

If your pet is over 5, don't buy insurance, they don't pay for claims and say things are age related.

I Was Dealing With An Extremely D...

I was dealing with an extremely difficult situation, which resulted in the loss of my beloved Maltese, Ziggi. Pets Best handled all of the paperwork associated with filing the claim. For that, I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend them.

My Wife And I Live In San Francis...

My wife and I live in San Francisco with our dog Jelly. Jelly is six years old and has maintained relatively good health throughout her first 6 years. However, this year she became abruptly ill and was recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). This is not a common disease and it was a tough road of discovery (with multiple trips to the vet) to ultimately uncover her diagnosis. The last few months have been challenging and emotional, and I can't imagine going through these difficult times without the support of Pets Best Insurance. Without insurance, I don't think we would have found the diagnosis for Jelly and I don't know if she would still be around to enjoy her life. She is now eating a diet that is conducive for her illness and is doing much better! Pets Best has been really supportive the entire way, was very reasonable with our submitted reimbursement claims and always provided a detailed description regarding our reimbursement. Thank you Pets Best for everything you do! Ashley, Jelly and I greatly appreciate it!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
