We've had a rough year with our pets this year.
Our dog had a really bad break in his leg in an accident that required surgery and with this incident, then one our cats, Nunchuck, got really sick for two weeks refusing to eat and vomiting. It was a really stressful experience. We've had PetsBest for 3 or 4 years now, and this year it absolutely saved us from financial hardship. If we had to pay both of these expenses out of pocket, there's no way we would have afforded it and would have maybe had to sacrifice care for money. PetsBest gave us a peace of mind that the financial side would be taken care of. They are our babies. We love them just as much as anything, thus we protect them with PetsBest. Thank you so much, I don't know what we would have done without you.

Going Through My Cat's Illness & ...
Going through my cat's illness & passing has been devastating. Only 5 months after being diagnosed with cancer, he was gone. Having the financial aspect taken care of so quickly & easily has made it much more manageable. The staff has also been extremely kind & supportive when I've called with questions, & they were very understanding even when I was crying. Without this insurance, my savings would have been depleted. I would recommend Pets Best to anyone who loves their fur baby & wants the best possible care for them.

Used to be great, now it's just a machine
If you had asked me a year ago, I would wholeheartedly recommend them. They were fast and easy and fair. Then they got slow and started lying about odd things. This was before this got complicated with my dogs health, then it became hell. I don't know if they changed management or underwriters or just turnover but it just changed. The customer service people are very nice but the claims just went downhill.
Their online claims site is amazing and easy and when they do pay, its right into your bank account. The last claim paid was as fast as the first ones but that is the first time in a long time that has happened. If you have a young pet and don't have anything complicated, it might still work. But for me, it's turned into complete heartache and stress at a time i didn't need it. I wasn't trying to pull one over or anything but that's what they made me feel like, which was really unfair and cruel.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
