Useless, Rude

We have the injury and illness plan for $45/mo. First of all, this is overpriced since it really only covers catastrophic situations and has a low cap. We submitted one low claim, $280, for an anaphylactic medication reaction. This was declined. When we asked why it was declined, we were told we didn’t have enough coverage. So I asked to make changes to our plan only to be told changes can’t be made for a year after selecting a plan. So you get sucked in to a useless plan and get stuck there. Just throw them on the pile of slimy insurance companies.

Their various insurance products and price points make their monthly premium very affordable. My sheltie has been a very healthy boy…

My sheltie has been a very healthy boy for 8.5 years. Then his liver enzymes became elevated and he needed multiple tests, scans, and expensive medications. Pets Best even covered for holistic veterinary care when he failed to respond to reegular care after 3 months. He is doing well with the holistic care. I am so relived that I can get him the help he need. He is a canine good citizen and my best pal.

OMG! The fastest claim processing I've ever known!

My twelve-week old puppy got sick and I had to run to the vet. I filed a claim online when I came home, and just a few hours later I had the response and information about the check that is going to be mailed. I've never had such fast service! I also called a couple of times previously to ask questions, and each time the person I had on the phone has been wonderful, caring, communicated well and was very precise on the information I received. So glad I chose Pets Best - Thank you!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
