Relieved to have the coverage

When we adopted a 6 y.o. rescue, we decided to get Pet's Best health insurance. This was the best decision we could have made. Just 6 months after we had her, she became very I'll and needed to have an infected kidney removed. The costs for all her care without insurance would have forced us to decline treatment and have her put down. BUT, we were able to have the surgery and our $7,000. bill was only $2,000. after the insurance reimbursement. Two years later, she is healthy but we keep the insurance in place because you never know what can happen. ALSO, they pay you within a few days of your claim. This was truly a lifesaver for our little yorkie.

Thanks to Petsbest for getting our pet the care she needs

Our little Gracie has asthma and has to take treatments. She is on two different meds one of which is expensive. Thanks to Petsbest we can afford to give her the life saving treatments and keep her with us.

Pets Best exceeds expectations

While we have not had to use your services often (thank goodness :) ), when we have, you have always exceeded expectations! Our most recent experience with an intestinal obstruction in our dog was the scariest and most life threatening issue we have had to deal with and submit for insurance coverage. We used the website while at the ER to determine our coverage which helped us make a quick and life changing decision for our pet. The website and coverage was easy to navigate to find information and to fully understand our benefits and out of pocket costs. The online claim submission process, communication while processing and payment timelines were simply outstanding. Our claim was reviewed and approved in 48 hours with payment in 3 days (during a holiday week!) Thank you for your great coverage and, most importantly, making the submission, processing and payment processes so easy, smooth and QUICK! We are raving fans!

I love this company

I know nothing about insurance, but knew I needed to get it for my puppy just in case. It was honestly the best decision I ever made. Whenever I have questions - which is a lot of the time - I sign onto my account and chat with the customer service team. I get clear answers that I can understand and an email of the conversation sent to me. I've never had a problem or a situation where the customer service representative didn't know the answer. They are so helpful. I also love how much they cover. Between the monthly flea, tick, heart worm, and getting my dog spayed - the amount I've been reimbursement is incredible. I can't express how much I appreciate and love this company.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
