Excellent Insurance

From the time I faxed my pet's claim in until the time the reimbursement was direct deposited into my account was about 5 working days. Excellent Insurance and caring fabulous customer care agents.

Pet's Best is just a business to make money and try not to pay out customer claims

I have paid so much money into this policy to Pet's Best, so that I would have coverage when needed. The policy pays 80% of accident, illness, injury after a $100 per incident deductible. I took my dog to the vet, due to her symptoms, they ran different tests and found a few areas to treat. Pet's Best considered that one visit to one vet on one day as 3 incidents and charged me for a deductible 3 times! Then subtracted what they considered "wellness" and paid 80% of the remaining bill. Brutal, dishonest, predatory, deceitful and disgraceful. Save your money for emergencies and skip the headache!

Warning, if your animal ever had a complaint prior to diagnoses they will deny your claim

Closed case because they said they did not get the pets file from vets when in turn they did and I had to re-open the case. They paid 67 dollars of 504 bill. So if your dog has ever had a complaint prior to being diagnosed they will say that they had it before and deny your claim. Total waste of money.

Pet insurance is a necessity

I am very satisfied with my recent claim with pets best. they followed through as soon as they received my claim information. then e mail me back promptly every time I have questions. they have been working hard to get detail information regarding my claim. once they have all the information, they process my claim efficiently. I am glad I choose pets best insurance for my dog, hachi. he is in good health. however, dogs are like humans. they do get sick. pet insurance is a necessity for pet owners to get the peace of mind. I am happy and hachi is happy too. thanks.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
