Quick

My puppy is a lover of pecans and swallowed one whole which in turn got lodged. The surgery was very costly and Pets Best honored our insurance plan and took care of everything rather quickly. Since it was our first claim they informed me it may take longer to approve and it did which I was okay with (3 weeks in total). Overall, very painless! Would definitely recommend!

Good explanations

Pets Best came through

Our Chiweenie Joey needed diagnostic X-rays and an ultrasound for digestive problems. Cost over $1,100. PetsBest came through with a check for $527! Took about a month to receive it, but worth the wait. Thank you, PetsBest!

Surgery for My Dog

My vet administrator submits claims directly to PetsBest and has stated that your company is the best to work with out of all the pet insurance companies she has to deal with. All claims thus far have all been processed timely with detailed explanations. I would never have a pet without insuring with your company.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
