This company engages in false…

This company engages in false advertising. They say they process claims in 5-10 days, however once you enroll they tell you that it's actually 30-40 days. They also frequently deny coverage for erroneous reasons.

Horrible Experience!

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with Petsbest from the customer service to the processing time of the claim and especially with their decision to cover NONE of the claims I have submitted. I was counting on this insurance to help with my dogs illness and now > 5k into it, I have not received a SINGLE cent back. Please do your research before choosing your insurance.. this was supposed to alleviate some stress and unfortunately, it has only made our lives more stressful and hectic.

Claims process

The claims process with Pets Best is awesome. They are very helpful. I have never had an issue yet and have been with them for 12 years with both my dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
