In the beginning of the policy and obtaining it very responsive, very understanding etc. Time went on terrible.

Great service. Great comfort.
I have been a lifelong dog owner and have never had pet insurance. This Spring we lost our Irish Wolfhound with an unexpected medical crisis that was heartbreaking and made ever more stressful by the thousands of dollars of ER care in that 24 hour period. That experience prompted me to purchase pet insurance for our Yorkshire Terrier. He has always been very healthy but I used the preventive benefit for his annual check up and also purchased the teeth cleaning plan. Very easy to submit claims and receive reimbursement. This Fall he suddenly had a very serious gastrointestinal issue prompting ER services at our University veterinary clinic. (At one point we were certain we would lose him too... but they were able to figure it out and now he is back 100%!) Several claims submitted related to this illness and all processed and paid according to our benefit plan. I don't look forward to needing these types of services.... but it is a great relief to have reliable insurance coverage should they arise. Thank you Pets Best!

Thank you so much for your care and service. This was our first experience with filing a claim, and unfortunately, it was when our pup passes away. The process was very easy and communication was also very easy. What impressed me the most was after the claim was processed, two months of coverage cost was also credited. This demonstrates the ethics of this company and concern for the customer. Thank you.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
