Customer for 10+ years

I have been using Pets Best insurance for my pets for over 10 years. I find the method of submitting a claim to be easy. Pets Best recently updated the form for that and it is still relatively easy. This insurance company premiums basically had been on par with some of the other insurance companies. I do have a suggestion regarding pets who are older - perhaps Pets Best decision makers can discuss other options for the elderly pets as it seems as if that insurance payment is more expensive.

They do exactly what they say they will…

They do exactly what they say they will do - I scan in my Vet receipt, and within a week or two I have a reimbursement Automatically back in my Bank account. Highly recommend.

My dog has been having a kidney problem and can't seem to get over. Having this insurance really helped me to provide him with continued care.

I am very disappointed in your…

I am very disappointed in your coverage. My puppy had stopped eating some of his meals, had horrible breath and had most of his baby teeth that would not come out when the adult teeth came in. He needed to have his teeth removed to prevent issues with his adult teeth. You call this routine and choose not to cover it. I’m extremely disappointed and will not renew after this policy ends. It’s a scam to pay for coverage and then have you find every way possible to deny coverage. Lesson learned!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
