Processing Claims takes forever.
I think it takes way too long for Pets Best to process claims. Every. Single. Time. I get an email apologizing for the delay in processing my claim. If you have time to send that email you have time to process my claim. It is not very difficult. For this reason alone, I would never recommend Pets Best to another pet owner.

Worth the money
I got insurance for my three dogs and just paid for the year upfront. Two of my dogs needed dentals this month to extract broken teeth and with just those procedures they both met their deductible and I got reimbursed for a portion of it.

The best no hassle process
The best no hassle process. In the midst of a pet's urgent medical care the last thing a pet parent needs is brokering between the insurance and the care provider. That's what makes Pet Best so wonderful to work with. Just scan in and send the invoice(s) for vet care and Pets Best communicates with the vet office if additional information is needed. This fees me up to focus on my pet's care and recovery. I have shared this information with others who are looking for pet insurance.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
