Perfect for Pet Parents!
Pets Best has been so helpful when I got a new puppy! The wellness and illness/injury benefits have both come in handy as she needed all her shots and then hurt her paw needing a surgery that would have cost almost $1000 without the insurance. Pets Best covered 90% of that cost! So beneficial. I highly recommend it for any pet parent.

I made 2 claims
I made 2 claims. I did not receive the claims back as fast as I wouldve hoped for, but quicker than the 35 days period they said, which for me I think it is very slow. The coverage was okay. I have the most premium benefits and I did not see too much benefit. Paid 200 at vet and got 85 back, which was what I paid for the insurance monthly anyway.

They NEVER pay, but ALWAYS jack up the policy!!!
Pathetic!! Raised my policy 33% last yr and my dog is healthy. The FEW times I have tried to get $$$ back is almost ALWAYS so sad, too bad!!! When I first got them used to tell as many as possible about them. THAT has changed!!!

The wait for reimbursement takes FOREVER…
The wait for reimbursement takes forever (4-6 weeks) and on 1 claim I had to contact them multiple times regarding the incorrect amount they reimbursed me. Yet again I have to contact them on another claim that has not been fully reimbursed.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
