Not good
It took far too long to get my refund. Also the claim was first denied, instead of someone asking me to send the right additional documents.

Worthless Insurance
This was my first experience with pet insurance. Had a new puppy and decided to give it a try. Of the claims I submitted to date almost nothing was paid, maybe 5% at best. A total waste of money as they deny virtually everything and take a long time to process claims as well. Do not go with Pets Best (Worst) if you expect coverage.

Terrible Customer Service
Terrible Customer Service. Tried reaching someone with questions on an emergency claim and could not get a person on the phone. No message machine or call back feature. Faxed a letter to them and still no response. Guess no intention on paying the part of the bill I submitted and was questioning. Think I am cancelling. Not worth the money!

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
