Easy to submit bills and quick payment.

Filing claims is very easy using the app, but getting reimbursed takes about a month and every time I get an email apologizing for the delay. I feel like I pay every month but I don’t meet the deductible with vet bills all the time. I feel like paying for wellness is not worth it, as the insurance only covers 3-4 vaccines a year, 1 fecal exam a year. Dogs get parasites more than once a year, and need more than 1 fecal exam. I’m very disappointed that claims take so long to be processed and customer service never answers the phone

I got this insurance after I adopted my dog in 2016 but haven't had to use it until this year. I read it was awesome. I used Embrace for my other dogs but the reviews were so good for PB that I had to try it. I recently had two dogs sick at the same time, so I was able to gauge one insurance against the other (same thing - a virus). Pet's best took 3 times as long to process the claim, excluded some of the mediation AND also does a weird math that instead of having a deductible of $500, it's actually a deductible of $550 (why don't they just say this) ... the policy I bought says $500 deductible but it is a 90/10 policy so their motto is I am responsible for 10% of the deductible as well, so if I submit a $600 vet bill, instead of paying a $500 deductible and 10% ($10) of the $100 balance with Pets Best paying $90 of the entire bill (its 90% after deductible is paid), I have to pay the $500 deductible of which only 90% of the $500 deductible I paid is applied to the actual deductible ($450), so I have to pay 10% more of the vet bill to get the amount to $550. A new.fancy.freaken.math. I am irritated by such games. I am currently trying to get my dog to Embrace because they have never played games with us.

When we first got our puppy we were contemplating pet insurance and a couple of friends recommended PetsBest. We decided to sign up the day we picked her up and it's the best decision we ever made! She had a bit of a rocky start, eating a sock, getting a bladder infection, ear infection, and giardia all within the first 8 months. While these were all stressful times, the pet insurance was able to relieve some of the financial stress. Absolutely would recommend!

I pay the most expensive policy and they never cover anything.. even called a head of time and asked for details on something very specific and I was told it would be covered and it wasn’t. They always find a way to not cover anything. Will be canceling ..
