I am not entirely happy with this…

I am not entirely happy with this company. You never can reach a person with a question. The process takes months to work out. Your coverage is really not good. If you did not pay my recent claim I was definitely going to another company.

Have had this insurance for 6 months…

Have had this insurance for 6 months and they’ve covered absolutely nothing so far even though I have full coverage for both dogs. There’s always an excuse, I’m switching over to pumpkin insurance

Excellent policy

Pets Best is reliable and they stand by their policy (no loopholes or push back on coverage). They are one of the few insurers that cover very senior dogs. My dog is 16 years old. The only criticism I have is their time to reimburse is 4-6 weeks but they communicate this upfront.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
