It was so easy to file a claim

It was so easy to file a claim. They kept in contact with me to let me know they were working on it. Once I got the email saying the claim had been done I received my money with in 24 hrs.

Waiting a long time for claim resolution

I sent in my Pets Best claim quite a while ago, it was cut and dry nothing complicated and I have not heard back as to the status of my claim. Also the way that Pets Best has fought me on reimbursement for my 141/2year-old dogs cancer surgery and medication is infuriating. I was completely Misled by one of the agents who told me I should continue to pay the high monthly premiums just in case my dog should ever get cancer, only to find out when he needed it, Pets Best was not there. He has been with Pets Best since he was a puppy

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
