Amazing Product

This insurance has completely taken the factor of cost out of providing the best possible care for my dog George. He is over 16 years old now and it seems like he gets a new ailment every day! I don't hesitate to get him seen by my vet when he needs because I know the care will be covered. Getting him this insurance was the best decision I made for him. I want this time of his life to be as comfortable as possible, and knowing i can affordably provide the best care for him is such a blessing.

Duncan's tick borne bout

Duncan was put on Vectra 3D for tick and flea control because it was my strong belief that Nexgard had a hand in causing Bailee's seizures and ultimate passing. When Duncan started limping for no reason that I could find, the vet's blood work indicated a tick borne disease so apparently one tick got through his protection. Many blood tests and medicine were required before he tested okay. My fingers are crossed that it doesn't happen again but I am so very thankful that I had Nationwide backing me up throughout his very extensive and expensive treatment. Couldn't have asked for better backup.

So glad to have Nationwide Pet Ins.

Definitely recommend Nationwide pet insurance. Having pet insurance has saved me so much money on my vet bills especially having a dog who has allergies and sensitive stomach issues. Best investment ever is having pet insurance . Also I noticed that the insurance checks are coming a lot faster now . It used to be about a month but now it seems like 2 weeks . Thanks again Nationwide for taking care of our Maya.

Nationwide pet insurance is totally worth the peace of mind.

The biggest draw to Nationwide pet insurance, for me, was the customer service. Good customer service isn’t easy to get these days and I have had nothing but helpful people with whom I have interacted. The claim process is so easy and the response is very quick. The prices are reasonable and everything Nationwide offers is worth the peace of mind so that I can keep my pet healthy without the added stress of worrying about the bills.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
