Having Nationwide Pet Insurance has been great!

Having Nationwide insurance has been great! Completing the forms are easy, and the claims are handled expeditiously! I love that I can have the reimbursement sent directly to my checking account.

We love everything about the insurance. It is expensive but I understand the monthly amount goes down after the first year!

I am Impressed with the turnaround time for claims. Fortunately, Teddy is very healthy. We just got his heart worm and flea and tick preventive and he was weighed for that. Have recommended Nationwide on FB and to friends.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is absolutely the BEST EVER!

Nationwide Pet Insurance is amazing. Filing a claim is simple and they direct deposit immediately. Having giant breed dogs (I have two!) can be expensive if they need medical care and Nationwide takes great care of us. I would recommend them to anyone!

Nationwide is one of the best companies that I deal with. They are always ready to talk to you on the phone to solve a problem. Their computer program is easy to work and they are quick with their claims department. I just used their 24/7 vet service for the first time and I was quite impressed. I would refer your company to everyone I know. I have your major medical policy but I feel it is really worth while as my little girl is now 12 years old. Thank you for all you do.

Nationwide is on Dakota's side!

Completely unexpected, but extremely grateful Nationwide came through on helping my golden retriever Dakota. He's doing much better and the results came back negative thank goodness. We aren't out of the woods yet on his weight, but at least I know he's a healthy boy. Thank you Nationwide for taking excellent care of my claims and following up.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
