I can't believe I waited this long for Pet Insurance!

Great Service

Worry FREE easy and just wonderful!!

Nationwide pet insurance is the best purchase I have ever made!! It is so easy the make a claim with vitusvet app. Just take pics of receipts and send them over with explanations. Nationwide has taken care of all my claims (my Gidget has had a lot of claims, from standard office visits to full scans and operations/procedures because she likes to eat things that get left in her stomach and have to be manually retrieved, as well as knee surgery) needless to say, this insurance has been a life saver, not having to decide whether we can afford to do the procedure or not. This allows us to keep our fur baby safe and knowing we will get the claim taken care of, and have never had to dispute anything!!! Love, love, love Nationwide Pet Insurance!! 🐶❤🐶❤

Wonderful

Brandy is the 4th boxer that our family has raised over the last 25 years. She is the 1st to be enrolled in a medical insurance plan. What an amazing difference! I never anticipated the benefits of having pet insurance and always dismissed the idea. This time around my husband said that we HAD to have insurance due to our breed's many ailments. The claims are easy to file and the turn around time is much less than I expected. The coverage is awesome with close to dollar for dollar reimbursement.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
