Love the coverage and ease of claims
After researching far to many pet insurances I went with nationwide and couldn’t be happier. The coverage I recieved for the monthly charges was amazing. The ease of sending my claims with just snapping a pic on my phone made claims simple. Customer service representative Kia has been great since day 1 when I called inquiring about the plan options, and he’s even followed up on my puppy’s status. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Nationwide always responds quickly to my claims and is very helpful!
I appreciate how quickly Nationwide processes claims and explains why you do/don’t get money back for each item. Most expenses are covered, and anything that isn’t is mostly understandable. I’m so glad we have Nationwide Pet Insurance for our doggo!
One thing I don’t understand, though, is why spaying/neutering isn’t covered. That procedure is usually a good thing for the pet (can prevent reproductive-related cancers and other diseases), so you would think Nationwide would want to encourage pet owners to spay/neuter their dogs. Either way, though, Nationwide is still a great insurance provider!

Worry-Free Pet Bills
My cat Shadow, who is now 16 years old, was diagnosed with UTI, Kidney Failure, and Hyperthyroidism. She has had to have medication, hospitalization, and ongoing treatments. The bills have been mounting but I am so glad I have pet insurance with Nationwide. After deductible, they cover 90% of the bill which is a tremendous help financially. I would never want to have my beloved pet put down simply because I couldn't afford her medical bills!

All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
