Awesomeness

I was a little skeptical about pet insurance with regards to filing claims but I must say that I am impressed. Usually when I file a claim, my reimbursement is in my bank account within a week. Vet appointments are not cheap so it helps to know that my money is being returned within 7 days. Thanks Nationwide!!

Don't wait, get pet insurance!!!

I've known about pet insurance for years. I've looked into it, made calls, questioned it and then didn't do it. I had all the typical excuses, and justified waiting. My daughter adopted her own dog and immediately signed up for this insurance. She inspired me to take a look at it once again. My dog is now 7 was 6 when I decided on paying for insurance. Miller is a very healthy dog, no issues but I realized he was starting to get older. I thought, well maybe this is the time to take on monthly insurance for him. I work for a financial professional and I know that insurance is a hedge against what could happen, you hope you never need it but are grateful it's there when you do. Miller sustained a leg injury a few weeks ago, he will need surgery, I am so grateful I made this decision. I encourage you to do it, I will add a puppy to the policy when I get another puppy. I will never be without it again because it's been the best decision I could've made.

Pleasantly surprised at how much was covered!

My 3YO lab recently became very ill. It took a few visits to determine what was wrong and, full recovery took several weeks and multiple visits and re-tests. Needless to say, the cost was pretty high. I made sure to submit my claim in a very organized manner, with all invoices and tests and a detailed explanation of the diagnosis as explained to me by my vet. This was my first time filing a claim for an illness so I didn't really know what to expect as far as how easily my claim would be processed or what would be reimbursed. I was pleasantly surprised on both counts. I got back more than I hoped to and my claim was paid within 1 week with no questions or requests for further documentation. So happy I have my baby boy covered with Nationwide Pet Insurance!
