Do Not choose them for your Pet Insurance!!!!!
We have had nationwide pet insurance for 10+ years. My dog was just diagnosed with a thyroid tumor. It costs 8K to remove the tumor and Nationwide will only pay $715!!! Please look at their Major Medical Plan Benefit Schedule before purchasing!!!!! They are criminals!

Such a great experience with my last dog, I will always choose Nationwide.
The website was very easy to use!
But I chose to use Nationwide for my new puppy strictly because of how I was taken care of when I had my last Beagle who passed away 1-1/2 years ago. My experience throughout his life was such a good one, I decided I would never use any other company should I ever get a new puppy... and that's exactly what I did.

I have had Nationwide as my insurance company for my vehicles back in the day and never had a problem. I am happy to say that now I will have coverage for my little girl Ari.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
