I couldn't be more grateful to have Nationwide Pet Insurance

I have two younger labs and have recently moved to Missouri in the country from a city setting. My pups have gotten into everything from acorns to animal droppings to bark from trees!!! In the first 3 weeks I had to make a visit for one or the other. With the cost of moving and vet bills, I couldn't be more grateful for Nationwide. The process is simple and they work with my company to just pull my payment from my paycheck! Easy, simple and very much worth it!

Best Service Ever!

My employer began offering Nationwide's Pet insurance this year. I find the service to be outstanding, the value to be great, and the price is reasonable. We have two dogs and our return on investment (ROI) has been met! It allows me to take them to the vet when they need to, not just when I can afford to. I a better parent to my fur babies as a result. Thank you.

The unexpected

Tala is doing great now. I took her in for a routine teeth cleaning when the vet called to tell me that she had a back molar that was broken and needed to be extracted. Fourteen stitches later I got my baby home. I have 6 large dogs and each of them is insured because life is uncertain. Thank you Nationwide for being there for us.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
