We have always been satisfied with Nationwide

From the time we joined Nationwid, we have always received great service. Our previous company was absolutely awful. I have recommended Nationwide to our puppy owners and also to an acquaintance who also owns an Airedale.

Glad we have the insurance. It sure helps with the vet bills.

Quite a disappointment so far

To save on out-of-pocket costs for myself as the lone income, and well as considering the insurance company and multiple claims, I've always "bundled" services when a pet has to be put under. Not a recommendation with Nationwide. 2 pets had dental work done - around $375 each. One of the 2 pets also had a mass removed (not covered) for an additional $400 ($797 total). Nationwide only gave me credit towards my deductible for $65 of the $375 because they commented as the majority of the $797 was for the mass removal, which was totally incorrect. I left another pet insurance company, thinking I was going to get more (and I'm paying 35% more/month), but so far, it's not the case. Even though it's only been 6 months, I sure hope it improves.

Lifesaver Insurance!

The worst happened when my 7-year-old dog was running in the park and tore his ACL. We went to several vets over a series of visits and found out he needed surgery. $4000 in vet bills later, he is recovering and his prognosis is to make a full recovery so that he can lead an active life, chasing his favorite tennis balls. Without Nationwide, I don't know what I would have done. His surgery and vet bills were covered at 90% of the cost, and I absolutely cannot thank them enough for being there for us. I am telling everyone I know who has animals to come to Nationwide for coverage. My dog means everything to me, and with Nationwide, I'm able to take care of him without endangering our mortgage payments or having to take on debt. I've re-written this review several times because I don't think this gratitude can be adequately expressed in a few short sentences. Thank you, Nationwide, for taking care of us without delay or issue. If you're thinking about buying coverage for your fur baby, don't hesitate--when the worst happens, you'll be glad Nationwide has you covered.
