Nationwide Pet Insurance is a blessing

We are so thankful that from day 1 we signed up for Nationwide Pet Insurance. It has been very easy to work with them and the ability to call for advice is wonderful. The process for payment has been very easy and quick reimbursement. Thank you for caring about our furry little girl <3

Thank you for your continued support and great sevice

I was told that adopting dogs has its caveats as they will most likely have health issues. That's why my husband and opted to get full coverage for both of our adopted dogs. One of them has serious dental issues due to being malnourished as a puppy in a hoarding situation, my husband and I have made taking care of this issue our #1 priority. It's comforting to know that Nationwide Pet Insurance is helping us get the care needed to help him live a full and happy life. Thank you, Nationwide! Chiquito sends doggie kisses. :)

Best pet insurance

Nationwide is the best policy for my Bitsy. It covers all her tests, doctor visits, medications. So easy to use and they even do direct deposit to reimburse you. We wouldn't be without it.

Read the fine print!!

I purchased insurance for my new puppy through Nationwide as I wanted to try a new company. It all sounded great til I got my packet in the mail. The max coverage they pay the first year is a joke compared to my other company I use, FIGO. I canceled immediately and bought another policy through FIGO.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
