Nationwide has relieved the stress of worrying about medical bills for our pet.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has always handled our claims in a short time. Sending a claim is easy and with the direct deposit of claim funds it could not be simpler or quicker. If I have any questions, their operators are friendly and knowledgeable. The premiums are well worth the service and the peace of mind of knowing our sweet Koali Madison has medical coverage.

This is the best ever

I did not realize that dog insurance was even a thing until I was recommended insurance by my vet and after talking to others, Nationwide was by far the favourite. Boy, were they right! Took good care of my boy, helping with his medical bills and we are so thankful. This email to ask how he was doing is so sweet. We appreciate all you do!

Best decision ever made regarding pet insurance.

Healthcare decisions for our 2 miniature schnauzers are made easier since we know we will be fully or partially reimbursed for office visits, medications , tests and surgeries Our two dogs have had surgeries with full or almost full reimbursement.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
