Pet insurance doesn’t seem necessary till you really need it.

I’ve had my 8yo English bulldog Zeppelin insured since he was a puppy. I just kind of signed up and then forgot about the payments. Throughout his 8 years I have had maybe 10 claims from screwed up liver enzyme counts, ruptured anal cysts, ear infections, to a torn acl. All have been covered no questions asked. As he has aged his premium has increased but with a torn acl at 8 years old covered 100% I’ve got my money’s worth for the next couple years. Pet insurance does sound like a joke, but it’s always nice to know my best friend will be ok when these vet bills start piling up.

Telephone Customer REPRESENTATIVES NEED TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO HANDLE UNUSUAL CLAIMS

All three Representatives who answered my phone calls regarding this Claim were very personable, However, it took 3 phone calls to get an answer to my question. The third Customer Service Representative was a woman named Rayna R. and she went out of her way to make sure that my claim was handled correctly! She took the initiative and asked me to forward the information to her e-mail address. After sending her the information, my Claim was quickly settled. Rayna was both professional and personable!!

We are very happy with the coverage we have been getting for our dog for over 13 years

Our dog is over 13 years old and is in excellent health. We believe we owe much of that to having insurance from the time she was a puppy so we could always afford to make sure she had the needed care for whatever she needed.

Nationwide has done well by our dog.

Our dog has been a client of Nationwide for a number of years now. He has had quite a few veterinary visits over the years. Nationwide has helped us pay for those visits. Nationwide has been very fair in the disbursement of those funds in those claims. I certainly can highly recommend the company for anyone with animals.
