No Hassle Pet Insurance

On the recommendation of a friend, I enrolled my dog in what used to be VPI insurance (now Nationwide Insurance) the first week that I had her. She's now 7 years old. I have never had any problems whatsoever with Nationwide not coming through with payment on a claim based on their written policies. It is a relief to know that Nationwide will cover what it says it will cover for unexpected costly medical care (as well as routine care).. My little girl has had gnarly dental procedures the last two years and Nationwide covered the surgeries per my policy.

Nationwide pet insurance is the best!

I have never had a problem or issue with Nationwide Pet Insurance and claim review and reimbursement. Always consistent. We wouldn't consider any other insurance for our furbabies.

Clear-cut Coverage with caps

The forms are easy enough to fill out, and it is very easy to figure out what will be covered and how much. The unfortunate part of the insurance is that there are caps based on the injury or illness, so if your animal develops a chronic condition you may end up having to pay a lot toward the end of the year. Their app for submitting claims needs work, but veterinary offices can often fax the claim for you, so you don’t have to worry about it. The customer service is excellent.

Thankful to have pet insurance

We adopted two boy dachshunds between 1999 and 2013. We did not have pet insurance for them but we footed the bill for their care. They died 9 days apart, one of cancer and the other of congestive heart failure. Then about 3 months later we adopted two adult girl dachshunds and immediately got insurance. Now whenever there is illness or we have a wellness visit, we do not worry about the cost. The insurance is part of the budget and although it seems significant it is scheduling payment toward the girls healthcare. We have been totally satisfied with Nationwide Pet Insurance... it is a blessing to not be terrified of being able to give our dogs proper healthcare. I consider Nationwide Pet Insurance a partner is insuring my girls get the care they need. I had to retire due to health issues myself and it has really helped. I have friends who do not have insurance and they make decisions based on their bank account and not the care of their pet. I recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance at our vet office to the staff. They always ask, what kind of insurance do you have and I do recommend you folks. Thank you for your service to our family.
