Great coverage for my dogs snake bite
My dog was bite by a snake. It took weeks to recover and numerous emergency and vet visits. She pulled through and it was great that Nationwide covered 90% of all her visits.

Pet Insurance is important
Overall pet insurance is important. It takes a while from beginning to end when filing a claim. I wish there was an ins carrier where they pay the vet instead of me. Saves hassle. Also irritating you never know what you are going to be reimbursed. You are the discretionary of the rep who handles your claim.

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
