Excellent service and easy to use with VetusVet app!

Ginger is my second dog covered by nationwide! The coverage gives me peace of mind while caring for my animals. The ease of use is awesome with the VetusVet app. I keep track of their health on the app and submitting claims takes a few short minutes!

Life Saver

My pup is just a little over a year and I rescued him from a family friend. He's a pit mix so he likes to chew up and destroy toys but one day he ate his rope toy and it got stuck in his intestines. It was a very scary time for me because I didn't understand why he was so sick. I rushed him to the hospital and they told me he needed surgery asap to remove everything that was stuck inside his tummy. Being a dog mom I threw my credit card at them and told them I didn't care the price I just wanted him to feel better. So they swiped away and the bill was way more expensive than I would've thought. Without thinking twice I didn't have anxiety because I knew Nationwide would take care of me. Nationwide took care of 90% of the cost and replied to my claim in a timely manner. Thanks to them my dogo and I can live life happy as ever because we know Nationwide will take care us.

Love Nationwide Pet Insurance and tell people about it all the time!!!

Tito is our 1st dog that we chose to do pet insurance with and we are so thrilled with this decision. Every process has been flawlessly performed. It starts with the claim, then the processing and finally the payment. I could not be happier! We will continue to tell people about this great insurance.

This PLan works for us. Simple and easy to submit the Claims and return time is sufficient.

I even recommend this Plan to my friends. The monthly fees start going up... but it all depends on how neede your pet is. The rest is Arithmetic

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
