Very happy with Nationwide pet insurance

Decided to get pet insurance due to the expense of a routine vet visit; I couldn’t even imagine what a sick visit would cost! Well, I needed to take my kitty who was very sick. Nationwide insurance was a life saver! I submitted the vet bill and got an immediate response that they received my claim and received the payment within 10 days. Fantastic! I highly recommend Nationwide : )

Speed of claim processing

Nationwide continues to provide our puppy with great insurance. Having the rider added onto the policy is a relief knowing he's covered for just about any accident, and provides good health maintenance coverage.

Nationwide Pet Insurance coverage is a wonderful blessing, great benefit to an old lady's retirement budget.

Have had canines as pets for most of my life. Sasha Rose is the first one ever covered by pet insurance. Such a blessing. Fortunately she has not had to have any surgery like my last faithful companion, but she has a lot of allergies & digestive problems requiring special food and meds. We are blessed with a wonderful staff at Northern Animal Clinic, Midland, MI. Best Investment for your furry loved one

I have been a Nationwide (VIP customer previously) for years and this has been the best decision I have made to help offset expenses for when my dogs are in need of treatment. It is nice knowing that the large expense that usually comes when bringing a dog to the vet can be offset by this wonderful policy. True professionals and genuinely care about the needs of your pet.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
