Nationwide has been the best!
Filing claims is so easy. It doesn't take a long time for them to respond & then they send you an email to ask how my pet is doing! Hope to be a Nationwide member for a long time!

Prompt, excellent service with claims.
I have a 13 year old Golden.Mix. We have been members since before Nationwide bought the company we started with. My premiums have tripled since we first joined (I understand why this is necessary). Dealing with Nationwide has been excellent and having insurance allows us to make sure our dog's health is not a cost issue.
He is in excellent health until recently when he had a benign tumor removed and shortly thereafter was treated successfully for blood in his stool. He seems to be back to behaving like a puppy again.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
