Prompt, fair, and responsive--that's Nationwide.

I am very pleased with Nationwide. I have three companion animals of different ages. I no longer worry when I bring Artful Dodger, Finnegan, and Nugget to the vet. All treatments authorized by my wonderful vet (Dr. Allison Massenzio), are covered by Nationwide, which responds promptly when I am entitled to an insurance rebate. I recommend Nationwide to EVERYONE. (On the negative side, I find the e mails I get somewhat unhelpful....but that is a small complaint)

Get pet insurance, it’s great

Would still like to have my dog Coopers thyroid medicine covered. He was not diagnosed with the problem until several months after we had the policy.

Highly recommended

Everything is easy with nationwide. Faxing a claim and quick turnaround for payment. Been a customer for 4 years and have always had a good experience. Highly recommended to several friends.

Great Rates, Amazingly Simple Claims

Nationwide makes pet insurance a no-brainer. They have great rates, and the process for claims via the app are literally a 2 minute process, with fast turn-around. I know it is hard to get excited about insurance, but Nationwide has been well worth the effort to write this review, you can't beat it.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
