Please Be More Stable With Premium Increases
My "major" concern involves the recent price increase in premiums, nearly double for the wellness plan. I was floored by this type of increase. Your reply was that we asked the states for this amount and they approved it. Good for you - but bad for the consumer. In addition, I was told that because my dog was one year older that there was a rate increase, in addition to the large increase. I understand that you are a business with stock holder interest, but if "Nationwide is on your side" is your mantra, you sure failed with this one. Good for the share holders, BAD for pet owners.
Imagine the out cry if you raised your human health care insurance as much!
Yes, the wellness coverage is the Mercedes Benz of pet coverage, but we are talking about protecting out pets and I would hope that you would show more compassion to pet owners across the board.
