Thank god for pet insurance
Chloe our standard poodle has had a wonky stomach since puppyhood. We are forever thankful for VPI and now Nationwide Insurance which has helped us tremendously, as she is at the vet regularly because of stomach upsets, throwups and runny poop. Right now she is fine: perfect poop we proudly exclaim!

Special Diagnostic
I paid for the full coverage for Kona. I understand he is a boxer and they are "cap" to pay for the claim. However, the last claim was for "special diagnostic tests"
Echocardiogram and they refused to pay. Saying that was for "Boxer cardiac"...blah blah blah.

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
