Nationwide should be on every dogs side

The peace of mind that comes with a nationwide policy for my dog is unprecedented. The ease of filing a claim, the ability to speak with a live human being located within the United States and so many other factors make the choice of nationwide so easy. I would not own a dog unless he was covered by a nationwide policy.

Making a difficult process seemless

Nationwide has made the claim process painless. I have been submitting claims since Dec 2018 for IVDD, and March 2019 Osteosarcoma, neither diagnosis promising, yet NW has been extremely efficient, and typically reimburses in less than 30 days. On a few occasions reimbursement has been as quick as 3-5 days. Thank you for the promptness and efficiency in a difficult situation/prognosis.

Nationwide is really great.

Extremely pleased with the ease of filing a claim and the speed at which the claim is paid.

The last few months it seems has been one thing after another with Wanda and Sophie. I have one less thing to worry about knowing that my claims can be filed with ease and they will be acknowledged and paid quickly. I definitely made the right choice when I signed up with Nationwide for Wanda and Sophies insurance needs.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
