Easy but takes some time
It's a pretty easy process. Love that I can now file online through the app but it does take some time and the follow up isn't quite there yet but it has gotten better. I'm happy.

Extremely Disappointed
Extremely disappointed with Claims processing because -
1. Of the excuse that Nationwide used to avoid paying a claim
2. Of the lengthy time it took for process some claims
3. Of the lengthy time to receive a settlement check. 2 weeks now.

Rocky experience at the start but turned out to be a good overall experience.
I found my experience rocky from the start. I think your initial preexisting condition evaluation and decision was unfair and it required a lot of time and effort on my part to argue and ultimately reverse your decision. Additionally, some of my initial claims were mixed up upon submission... I submitted multiple claims simultaneously, had receipts for them, you processed some, and “lost” the others. That also took a lot of time and effort for me to resolve.
However I will say that once she was tragically and unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer you’ve been fantastic. The claims have been processed and reimbursed speedily. And I love the chase pay option to receive my reimbursements in a timely fashion.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
