Perfect pet insurance

I am so happy that I decided to purchase pet insurance for my two cocker spaniels. They have couple health issues. I be able to claim a lot of my vet bills. And helping my dogs to feel better. Thank you Nationwide Pet Insurance!

So thankful to have pet health insurance!

I'm a big fan of Nationwide pet insurance as it's really helped with the vet costs associated with being a responsible pet owner. I'm fortunate that my company offers pet insurance as part of their benefits package. The monthly premium is reasonable and Nationwide makes it very easy to submit claims online as well as receive payments.

Sorry that your new renewal premium has. Out priced me. The increase was 1140.00.

Would have liked to continue the policy. I have had it for at least eight years. However the renewal premium is way out of line and my budget. It is more than I pay for my Medicare, more than I pay for my long term health care, and more than I pay for my secondary insurance. I had no choice but to cancel the policy. I have shared this with my dog trainer, groomer and veterinarian.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
