Happy with Nationwide Pet Insurance

We had a recent emergency with our Newfie that required a visit to the emergency vet, a bit of surgery, stitches, a night in the hospital and many meds. He is now fine and back to his normal life. Our pet insurance claim was promptly handled and I received my check covering the proper portion of the expense very quickly. Thanks for handling things well, Nationwide!

Great Service

Although I am very disappointed at the large rate increase, I am overall very happy with the service I receive from Nationwide. Two of my dogs are insured with you. Unfortunately, I had dropped my insurance for my third dog back in May through you because of the large increase in my premium for him and I went with Embrace. It was a huge mistake. Their service is terrible and I have since dropped my coverage with them because they are so bad. My dog is now without coverage and I don't know what to do. I don't know if I should look into going back to Nationwide, or if I should look into another insurance carrier. I plan on staying with Nationwide for my two other dogs because of the lesson learned with switching over to Embrace. So, thank you for your wonderful service. I just wish that you hadn't changed your policies and the rates I had previously with you. But, keep up the good work.

Prompt reimbursement and what I expected

My 1-year-old dachshund recently required emergency surgery after the vet discovered he had swallowed a rock lodged in his intestines. He was very sick. I agreed to all costs and focused on his care, grateful to have insurance. About one week after I submitted my claim to nationwide, I received the reimbursement I was expecting. Grateful it arrived prior to my credit card bill so I could pay it off quickly. Happy to day my guy has made a full recovery and the yard has been cleared of all rocks.
