Submitted my claim, got a refund for most of my bill quicker than I thought, no questions asked. 👍
My only concern is there should be some preventative maintenance allowance. You say you don't pay for boarding. I get it. But if I hadn't have had boarded Rusty I would have had a reopened wound and another ER visit plus more stitches. I did try one day and yup back to vet to help wrap his tender tail. That equals more money than just boarding him so the vet can make sure he doesn't pull bandage off again. He has a big head and wore the largest cone offered 24/7 but he could still reach his tale and pull bandage off. Thus why boarding him made more since. Preventative maintenance.
He was only day boarded when I was at work.

You’re awesome! You are the only pet or human insurance that has ever called to inquire about one of it’s insured to follow up on it’s health after surgery. I’m a active physician of 60 years and I have never seen or heard of such kindness or concern. Thank you so much for your concern and goodness. Good insurance program but website is a bit rough
Good insurance program. They have paid out fairly and payments are timely. There were some hiccups with the on line claims this time so it took time and patience to get the money to my account.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
