Nationwide Pet Insurance Has Been A Game Changer For A Lifelong Dog Family

The company I work for started offering pet insurance last year. I jumped a the chance and selected the insurance with the wellness option. I am now in my second year with our 4 yr old lab Murphy and I have had nothing but positive results with Nationwide. Everything is clear and concise. And benefit payments are made in a timely fashion with no issues. And the icing on the cake is that the few times I have had to call customer service (for informational purposes), the representatives from Nationwide always seem like very caring pet-loving people. Thanks for everything Nationwide. You have my highest recommendation.

Submitting a claim/reimbursement is super easy and fast!!

Submitting a claim is very easy through the app. It is processed/reimbursed within days of submitting. The ease of knowing I have pet coverage makes going to the vet a lot less stressful!

Painless and fast claim processing

We had to bring our dog to the ER vet clinic where she was diagnosed with a pancreatitis. Nationwide processed our claim quickly and the check came in the mail within a few days of claim submission.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
