Nationwide is pricey, but they deliver.
We have two older dogs, and decided to get pet insurance after both from needed surgery. Sure enough, the dogs continued to have health problems and at this point the insurance has more than paid for itself. That being said, our premiums went up significantly from 2019 to 2020. Not real happy about that.

Thankful for Nationwide
I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of filing a claim and the no hassle return of funds. I enrolled in the Chase Direct Deposit and the funds came quickly and conveniently. In stressful times like now, I was beyond thankful to have Nationwide help us through to get Chico the care he needed.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
