Comprehensive and Easy to Work With

We've really apprecaited having Nationwide Pet Insurance. While we have only had one claim outside of wellness visits, the process is easy and we are quickly reimbursed. The EOBS are clear.

Thank you, your coverage will extend the life of my dog!

We have a most loved Boxer who is almost 8 years old. We have done everything we can to keep her healthy, spayed, exercise daily, brush teeth daily, etc. I was able to sign up for insurance for Roxy (the dog) a couple years ago through my employer. I had been very familiar with human insurance, but not pet insurance. We had a healthy dog, and did not anticipate she would develop mast cell tumors a year ago. Apparently this is a common occurrence for this breed of dog. She has had three surgeries to remove these tumors. I want to thank you for making the claim process so easy. We are able to feel confident she is getting the best care since we have Nationwide coverage. Roxy is our fur child. She brings love and joy to each of our days. We really want her to live a full, healthy life. I will always have pet coverage through Nationwide. I also give high recommendations for your company.

I love Nationwide

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
