I received a denial letter today citing issues that my dog does not actually have. Vet indicated a week ago my dog has no heart murmurs yet a heart murmur is stated as being preexisting. Periodontal disease is listed as being preexisting yet on the same day vet indicated healthy gums and no sign of disease(teeth have not been cleaned) and noted in her chart teeth are in excellent condition. Foreleg lameness is stated vet confirmed that is not the case and no prior record of limping, no idea where this is coming from. Gastroenteritis.. no idea in this one and vet stated it’s nowhere in her records. She is also overweight according to Nationwide, vet stated specifically in her record that breed cannot be confirmed thus they are unable to determine. It’s as if they combined another pets file with my dog just so they could deny the claim. Watch out for this company they will take your premiums and leave you with vet bills.
