Fast processing and huge relief

During shelter-in order, I had to take my cat to the vet because of illness. I thought the processing time would take longer because of the current situation. However, it was very fast and relieved the financial burden.

What Took Me So Long???

Four dogs later, I finally decided to get pet insurance?! Best decision I've ever made! I couldn't be happier with the ease of filing/getting reimbursed [for] a claim! Thanks, Nationwide!

Yu guys are amazing; thank you!!!

My little 3 yr. old mini-Labradoodle has been dealing with aspergillus for nearly a year. She nearly died last fall and the prognosis was grim. We had her in Emergency Animal ICU, with a feeding tube, drained her lungs 5 times and she's been on anti-fungal meds that are basically keeping things at bay. Without my insurance policy, there's no way I could have done for her what we've done..thank you, thank you, thank you for hanging in there with me!!

Years of satisfaction with Nationwide!

For over 15 years I have had my dogs covered by Nationwide. Throughout all these years I’ve had excellent customer service. Extremely helpful and friendly reps and quick turnarounds on claims. Thank you Nationwide! Highly recommend!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
