Nationwide Pet Insurance is a blessing

I am very grateful for Nationwide being our pet insurance provider. I have no financial worries as my pet ages. I can trust that I am holding the right amount of insurance coverage for her. I know no matter what is ahead as our pet ages, we will get through it together.

Nationwide makes claims easy with no aggravation.

I’ve had the privilege of having pets my entire life! They are my family. I’ve had pet insurance for over 20 yrs now and for the bulk of that time it was from Nationwide. For a BRIEF time the coverage was iffy. Now with their Whole Pet Wellness plan I’m getting back 90% of my claims. Just as they advertised. The process is simple too. Vet care can cost a small fortune and there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my pets. Nationwide has taken a big financial burden off our shoulders. I tried Trupanion. Do NOT bother unless you work for a vet bc you have to pay a deductible for EVERY different diagnosis and they don’t cover wellness visits and vaccines. Ridiculous. I highly recommend Nationwide!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
