poor communication
I am very unhappy with the quality of communication regarding my recent claim on policy #1778373-02 for my cat’s care.
i was asked twice for the same information (no explanation about why the initial submission was insufficient - second submission was exactly the same and what was specifically requested).
i received no information that the claim had been finally and successfully processed
i received no information about how i would receive the claim payment
i received a separate email from Pet_Info with a citi email with no introduction regard its connection to MetLife (other than a logo at the top). given the various scams on the internet, often using legitimate-looking logos, i was very skeptical of their request for my financial information.
i received no information about why the payment amount ($165) was less than the submitted invoice ($202.18); what was denied and why?
I called your help line and was told I had to subscribe to your app or wait weeks for a hardcopy check (why do i have to join your app? so you can track me and sell my data? ). The human i talked to was very nice but basically couldn't help me sort out my questions.
