MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

The turn around times for my claims is unacceptable. It often takes two weeks to be compensated. When I start a claim I also upload all of the required documents, but I still get an email saying you are "waiting" on documentation. Before I signed up for your service there was all kinds of promises on your website for "quick" turn around on compensation. Your customer service is not helpful at all and pretty dismissive anytime that I contact customer service. I have serious concerns about payment if I ever have serious illness or injury of my day.

The claims process is simple. The app works well. We have had a couple of issues but both times resolved by customer service.

Don’t know what I would do without MetLife Pet insurance. They have been a lifesaver … literally! My dog was in doggie ICU for 3 days in heart failure and MetLife helping pay the bill was a God send. Submitting claims is super easy in the app and received payment pretty quickly. Thank you!!

Easy to submit claims. The rep helped me quickly and easily when I had an issue. Most reimbursements have been made timely.
