Off to a bad start with MetLife Pet insurance.
Off to a bad start with your insurance.
I have had other pet insurance for the last 20 years with other companies, and never have had the problems that I have encountered with MetLife.
Every claim has been a series of vague emails regarding more information to process the claim. Sometimes the claims have been duplicated ( not due to me ). MetLife has requested information from my vet that they had already sent before. This has happened twice now.
You need to be more clear on exactly what documentation you need, and quit inconveniencing veterinary hospitals and your clients with multiple unclear emails with no follow up that the correct information had been received.
That being said, my claims have been covered eventually, but not without me having to contact customer service on most of them.
