MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

Submitting a claim is easy whether using a laptop computer or even the MetLife Pet Insurance app on the cell phone. The claims are processed in an adequate period of time and have also been processed with proper reimbursement 100% of the time. There was only one occasion where the claim took an extended period to process due to MetLife wanting more information; in that particular case, I did not get a notice from MetLife but happened to discover the delay and took the initiative to contact MetLife myself. After the additional information/documentation was submitted the claim was satisfactory processed.

We still have a claim from April for a puppy spay. We did not get all the money back e have coming to us. We called and spoke with CS numerous times, but it is still there over a year later.

Easy and fast process. Great customer service.

Payments for reimbursements take far too long. Mistakes are made and are difficult to resolve, requiring long phone calls for attempted resolution.

Easy to submit claims and prompt reimbursement.
