I would highly recommend Metlife

I would highly recommend Metlife for pet insurance. This is the best pet insurance out there. Friendly caring and very knowledgeable staff. Very easy to place a claim if necessary. Helpful newsletters.

Overall

Overall, I have a great experience. My only complaint would be the amount of time the claims are being approved. I think that it would help for a faster turnaround and having the reimbursements over to us quicker.

They do not cover much

They do not cover much. Pre-existing conditions, like being a senior dog who has had joint pain before can cause them to not cover medication. All claims require not only the itemized bill (understandable) but also doctors notes, even when it's routine and no outlandish charges are present. Not worth the money they charge in my experience. We certainly are not renewing.
